BlackSeaRama Golf &Villas – Cape Kaliakra, Bulgaria has been selected as the first-place winner in the final judging for the "International Courses" category of the 2009 Development of the Year Awards by Golf Inc. magazine’s jury, USA, Florida. Runner-up in the "International Courses" category was Wehai Point Golf & Resort in China. Finalists were Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club in Ireland, Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico and The V Golf Club in Lithuania.

At the Spring Golf Inc. Conference April 12-14, 2010 at the Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Florida, five worldwide recipients with the awards will be honored. The courses and the developments are chosen on the basis of their outstanding and innovative programs and practices that protect and preserve the environment.

The contest honors the best new golf developments throughout the world and there are separate categories for U.S. and International courses – an excellent way to receive international recognition and bring exposure to any golf course, destination and country. The Green Awards are designed to recognize courses and companies around the globe that have taken concrete steps to embrace the most innovative, technologically advanced and cost-effective practices for achieving those goals.

Congratulations, BlackSeaRama Team – you set the standard! A bunch of friends, years before their time, found the equilibrium – the optimum fit between nature and human habitat… in Bulgaria. A magnificent experience, preserved and enriched wildlife, beautiful sea sunrise and sunset.
