Golf in Pravetz Introduces Club Tradition in Bulgaria
Investors offer properties and membership priorily to people from the business, political, cultural and sporting elite. Entrepreneurs behind the project for holiday golf resort in Pravetz are trying to create the first club in the country, which resembles those of the initial home of the game - the UK, which invites prominent figures from business and the political, cultural, scientific and sporting elite. Five hundred people were initially invited to bye estates and become members of the community, which functions according to the rules of the English clubs.

"Pravetz Golf & Spa Club" represents a voluntary association of successful people from the spheres of economics, politics, science, culture and sport, owners of estates on the club territory, aiming to create proper surroundings for rest and relaxation of its members, as well as for mutual charity initiatives", explain the investors.

The project is sole ownership of "Terra Tour Service" - a hotel company and a building investor with business at the Black sea coast and in the mountain resorts. It's part of "Agrohold" Holding. The company is going to build a 18-hole golf course with game length, corresponding to the category of the international competitions Par. 72. Besides, the terrain itself will correspond to the standards of PGA (Professional Golfers` Association) and there will also be a training course.

Constructor of the course is Harradine Golf - a company, which for the last 80 years has built over 200 golf courses in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The complex and the buildings will be created by "ProArch".
On the territory of Pravetz Golf & Spa there will separate club spaces, tagged with a "Private club" sign. These will be the club restaurant, the club spa center, a children club, a bridge club, sport club utilities, a club business center, etc. Access will be granted only to members of the club. They will be able to bring guests over for special procedures, specified in the club regulations. If an eventual change of ownership occurs, the new owner does not get club membership automatically. He can apply for membership with 3 recommendations from members or founders of the club.

The club base is expected to include a member hall, a restaurant, a golf equipment shop and a parking. The hotel area will consist of about 200 room and apartments. The club, built on a total 24 500 sq.m., will have conference halls and its own spa centre.
