The new project includes a standard 18-hole golf course, a racing track, as well as 350 residential buildings.
The building-investment company Swiss Golf & Leisure announced its intentions of investing in a golf complex in Romania on a total worth of 50 million euro, informs BusinessStandard.ro.
The company was created in 2006 by 5 stockholders from Switzerland and Romania, each one of them with equal shares of it. Its activity is mainly in the building business.
The new project includes a standard 18-hole golf court, a training car-racing track and 350 residential buildings, located near Dragomiresti Vale, west of the capital Bucharest.
The company informs that besides that, a luxurious hotel will be built. It will include a fitness hall, a swimming complex and a restaurant. The investors' expectations are that the whole project be completed until the end of 2010.
According to Prince Dmitry Sturdza, which presented the project in front of Romanian media, the total cost of the investment only for construction of the golf course is over 5.6 million euro.
This is the second project, which includes a golf course, being built in Romania. The first one is Poiana Brasov resort, built by INR Management, which is located in the central part of the country.
